We were asked by a company to research and sell this vivid landscape by Austrian painter Willy Eisenschitz.

VALUATION & OUTCOME:

We always felt that it was particularly attractive with the potential to do much better than its $3,000 to $5,000 estimate.

It did not disappoint, and the high volume of phone bidders from Europe only stopped when a final price of $23,000 was reached – more than seven times its low estimate.
