Partnership between Banziger Hulme Fine Art Consultants and Switzerland's largest fine art auction house Galerie Koller
We
are very happy to represent Koller Auction House in Australia. Koller
is the largest Swiss auction house, based in Zurich and Geneva, and offers an exceptionally broad spectrum of art works, unique in Switzerland.
The works at auction range from contemporary art to paintings of the
Middle Ages; from 18th century furniture to Asian art; from jewellery
and precious stones, silver and porcelain, to Art Deco and Art Nouveau
objects; from wristwatches, Old Master prints, drawings and books, to
tribal art.
Divided into ten departments, Koller's experts and their teams appraise,
value and catalogue as many as 12 000 objects in a year and prepare
over 50 specialist auctions.
With
new representative offices in Moscow and Sydney – Banziger Hulme Fine
Art Consultants, Manly - and the collaboration with the Chinese auction
house Emperor’s Ferry, Koller now also has a presence in Russia and
Asia.
Please contact us
if you have enquiries regarding buying or selling works with an
international interest, or if you would like to receive more
information about Koller Auction House.
Galerie Koller in a worldwide network
Not least through its
collaboration with International Auctioneers - a partnership of 8 leading
auction houses in Europe and the United States, Galerie Koller has placed itself in an even stronger
position in the international auction market. As a result Koller sells
over 70% of its top priced works at auction to foreign buyers.
They
are competitors and yet see each other as a family: an alliance with a
specific objective, whose members stand together and spar against one
another. This is how “International Auctioneers” (IA) works – a network
founded in 1993.
These leading auction houses are represented
together, advertising in each other's catalogues and salesrooms. They
coordinate their major auction dates and publish their own magazine
with a circulation of 80 000. Galerie Koller was present from the very
beginning, and in 2003 Cyril Koller was elected IA President.
Thanks
to IA, 350,000 clients can be reached worldwide, with 200 experts
within 35 areas of art and collecting at their disposal.
